The sleeping cars of the Bandeirante train, like the one shown in this photo, were built in U.S.A. by Budd in 1952, originally for the E.F. Sorocabana (the 500 series). Photos of similar cars can be seen in the E.F.S. and FEPASA pages. This photo was shot at the Júlio Prestes station, the main terminal station of E.F. Sorocabana at São Paulo city in 1972 by Maurício Torres, from Florida, U.S.A.. He kindly sent a copy for the E.F. Brasil pages.
