During the early sixties R.F.F.S.A. acquired several Rail Diesel Cars form the american company Budd. They were distributed to the several railroads that composed that network. However, these cars did not perform well at one of these railroads, Rede Mineira de Viação. So it swapped the RDC's it received for 14 carbon steel passenger cars with Companhia Mogiana, like the one that is shown in this photo. A car of this kind is now preserved at A.B.P.F.. This copy was kindly sent by Alberto Henrique del Bianco, from Pirassununga SP.
