When the 244-equipped locomotive fleet was purged, 376 was picked out of the deadline to be rebuilt into a road slug, with most of the doors & louvers sealed and enough ballast to bring it back up to 125 tons (by the simple expedient of sealing the 244 in & adding 30 tons of granite to the carbody.)
It spends most of its time coupled to the BLWRS/BLW251/B11 to spread that unit’s 1800 hp across a few more axles, but has been seen slugging other units as well.
