The former #980 steam locomotive of Companhia Mogiana being rescued from the former passenger car maintenance works of Companhia Paulista de Estradas de Ferro in Rio Claro SP. The machine was brought to the Viação Férrea Campinas-Jaguariúna and will return to life shortly! A striking vision was the carbon steel car shown at left, delivered in 1927 by American Car & Foundry to the former Companhia Paulista - it still is managing to survive the blazing torchs!
