This Pão de Forma electric locomotive, manufactured by Henschel in Germany during the fifties, was almost completely destroyed at the Paranapiacaba switchyards in this photo shot at January 25, 2000. This loco, originally supplied to the E.F. Central do Brasil, was transfered to E.F. Santos a Jundiaí in the late seventies, as Central do Brasil was progressively scrapping its electrication system. After the privatisation of E.F. Santos a Jundiaí all electric locomotives, including this one, were abandoned. Apparently the Brazilian branch of Siemens is considering to revamp and preserve this locomotive or, at least, its shell. This photo was shot by Paulo César Bonaldo, from Guarulhos SP.
