A model of #375

In 1965, hurricane Russell badly damaged this ex-LT&T RS-2. It was taken to the MTRR shops in Montréal for repairs, and in February of 1966 it emerged with a few slight alterations. The mechanicals were rebuilt to bring it up to Century standards, the short hood was chopped, and the cab was replaced with one from a wrecked New Haven U25B. Railfans have been known to flee, screaming, after sighting this locomotive.

This model was built from the carcass of an ancient AHM RS-2, with a cab from an Athearn U28B, a cast metal snowplow that was intended for a SD-9, and a small assortment of odds and ends from my scrapbox.
