The last steam locomotives on the PV&T were 5 Fell Mallet locomotives that operated on the Mount Cube incline. They went into service in 1908 and operated continuously until 1955, when the PV&T purchased the recently abandoned Boston & Maine line from Plymouth to Wells River, NH and immediately abandoned the heavily graded route over the mountain.

None of them survive.
