The Moshassuck Valley Railroad was purchased by the P&W in 1982, ending about 100 years of independent existance. It still exists on paper, but mainly as a mail slot in the P&W HQ. (It’s not quite as short as the stub of the Warwick Railway, but it’s still not quite long or busy enough to have a dedicated motor, despite being given control of the North Providence industrial track, so switching on the two branches is provided by the same P&W local that switches the Warwick Railway.)
